U.P. college Principal killed
Bulandshahar: A principal of a college was stabbed to death by an unidentified person here on Thursday, police said.
C.P. Gupta, Principal of the DAV Degree College, was stabbed several times by the assailant when he was taking a walk in the college premises.
Mr. Gupta was taken to a hospital but he was declared brought dead, police said.
Students of the college blocked traffic on the highway, demanding the arrest of a BSP MLA as he had allegedly threatened the Principal with dire consequences if he (Mr. Gupta) failed to readmit some expelled students.
Police said the Principal recently expelled 12 students on charges of vandalism on the campus. — PTI
