Big win for SHB
BANGALORE: Sree Hanuman Blessings (Gadag) trounced Mysore District Hockey Assocation 7-3 in the State ‘B’ division league hockey tournament here on Monday.
Ravi Gokak (10th, 19th & 57th) scored three goals, while Praveen Chapramani (16th & 24th) and Vinod Kattimani (33rd & 45th) found the target twice. Darshan Machaiah (seventh & 28th) scored a double and Appana (eighth) scored for MDHA.
In another match, South Western Railway (Hubli) beat Coorg Hockey Association 7-2. Nagesh Boyer (18th, 41st and 50th) scored three goals, while Sabbanna (39th & 58th), Manjunath Jadhav (28th) and Aslam Ali (59th) added to the tally.
Mukesh (third) and Aiyamma (42nd) scored for CHA. — Special Correspondent
