Kapur tied third

HONG KONG: A blemish-free five-under 65 propelled Shiv Kapur to the tied third spot, while Swede Daniel Chopra was equally impressive, carding a 66 to share the seventh position after the penultimate round of the Hong Kong Open golf tournament here on Saturday.

Among other Indians in the fray, Kolkata’s S.S.P. Chowrasia was tied 39th.

Jeev joint seventh

At Miyazaki (Japan), Jeev Milkha Singh turned in an even-par 70 in the third round to join defending champion Padraig Harrington at the tied seventh spot in the Dunlop Phoenix tournament on Saturday. — PTI
