Air Arabia orders 49 Airbus 320s

NEW DELHI: Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier in West Asia and North Africa, has signed an agreement with the Airbus Industrie for the purchase of 49 A-320 single aisle passenger jets. The deal, worth $3.5 billion, will help the airline, which also flies to India, to triple the size of its fleet. — Special Correspondent
