HYDERABAD: A special court here on Wednesday sentenced two persons to two months simple imprisonment following their conviction in a railway ticket fraud case.
The accused T. Basavaraj, 48, and T. Srinivasa Rao were arrested by the Railway Protection Force in May of 2005 on charge of duping people by selling fabricated railway tickets.
The duo used to sell fake railway tickets to Government employees and others availing leave travel concession, the RPF Inspector Satish Prabhu said.
