Hyderabad: Water supply to several areas in the city will be affected for three days from November 17 due to construction of elevated expressway from Mehdipatnam to Attapur by HUDA. Shifting of 1000 mm PSC feeder main from Singur along with 750 mm sluice value is being taken up and for this the Singur main will be shut down from 3.30 p.m. on November 17 to 3 p.m. on November 18. The following areas will have short supplies on November 17: Bagdad Colony, Pensionpura, Golla Basti, Langar Houz market, Prasanth Nagar, Bapu Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, MD lines, Sanathnagar, Jamalikunta Company Bagh and Ahmed Nagar. The following areas will not have supplies on November 18: Shatam Nagar, Jamalikuna Company Bagh, Munar Colony, Akberpura, Ahmed Colony, Tolichowki, Brindavan Colony, Subza Garden, Deluxe Colony, Hakeempet, Janaki Nagar, Nizam colony, Grammar colony, OU colony, Shaikpet, Maruthinagar, Laxmi Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Resham Bagh, Athara Siddi, Front Cottage, Shajanhan Nagar, Risala Bazar, Ramdevguda, Ibrahim Bagh and Military areas, Serilingampally and Rajendra Nagar Municipality areas. The following areas will have delayed and short supplies on November 19. They are: Saptagiri Nagar, Khader Bagh, Indira Nagar, Padmnabha Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Maruhi Nagar, Om Nagar, Netaji Nagar, Sardar Bagh, Santhosh Nagar, Rethi Bowli, Hill Colony, Markandeya Nagar, Ali Nagar, Shahed Nagar, Syed Aliguda, Mandulaguda, Navodaya colony, HUDA colony, Karwan, Satyanaryana Nagar, Guddimalkapur Janshan temple, Asifnagar, Kumarwadi, Seetaram Bagh, Dattatreya colony, HUDA colony Kishan Nagar, Miskin Shah Bagh, Veddara Basthi, Ladha Kstriyanagar, Yousuf Nagar, Mahboob Colony, Talim Amlapur, Malaimet, Karwan and Rajendernagar municipality areas. The affected areas will be supplied water through tankers. The HMWSSB has urged the people to store sufficient water in advance to avoid inconvenience.
