District selection chess tournament

CHENNAI: The Chennai District Chess Association will organise the district selection tournament for under-7 and 11 boys and girls on November 24 and 25 at the Sri Velankanni School, K.K. Nagar.

Chennai district players born on or after 1.1.2001 are eligible to play in the under-7 category while those born on or after 1.1.1997 can take part in the under-11 event. The top two rankers will represent Chennai district in the forthcoming State championship.

Entries close on Nov. 22 with Mrs Afroze Ahmed, Joint Secretary, CDCA. Ph: 94440-39182.
