NEW DELHI: Digvijay Singh played an error-free steady game to knock out the top-seeded N. Sai Karthik 6-4, 6-4 in the quarterfinals of the under-16 boys’ section in the Good Earth AITA Super Series junior tennis tournament at the DLTA Complex here on Wednesday. In the girls’ under-14 section, Amrita Mukherjee meted out a similar treatment to the top-seeded Prarthana Thombare. The results: Quarterfinals: Boys: U-16: Digivijay Singh bt N. Sai Karthik 6-4, 6-4; Shantanu Rajput bt Shabaz Khan 6-7(6), 6-4, 6-2; Ronit Bisht bt Suraj Desai 6-1, 6-2; Samip Mehta bt Vaidik Munshaw 6-2, 6-4.
