BANGALORE: Vasu Sports Club (Hubli) scored a 7-3 victory over Bharath Earth Movers Limited (KGF) in the State ‘B’ division league hockey tournament here on Wednesday.
Sunil (fifth, sixth & 58th) scored a treble and Mithun (23rd), Maruthi (27th), Praveen (50th) and Ranjith (60th) scored one goal each.
Sarvanan (21st), Amruth Raj (46th) and Parthiban (56th) reduced the margin.
In another match, HMT beat State Bank of India 4-2. Ravi (20th and 53rd) had a double strike and Shanth Kumar (10th) along with Vinod (40th) added to the tally.
Ravi Navalgi (46th) and Uthaiah (54th) scored for SBI.
