St. Aloysius HS enters final

MANGALORE: An all-round performance by Rameez Raja (52, three for one and two dismissals behind the wicket) helped St. Aloysius HS (Urwa) register a 42-run win over Infant Jesus Joyland HS (Bolar) in the semifinals of the Hangyo Cup cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

Rameez, who kept wickets during the run chase, came on to bowl at a crucial stage to dismiss three rival batsmen for one run to turn the match on its head.

The scores (semifinals): St. Aloysius (Urwa) 163 in 28.5 overs (Rameez 52) beat Infant Jesus 121 in 30.3 overs (Ankith three for 22, Rameez three for one). — Staff Correspondent
