St. Joseph’s triumphs

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Host St. Joseph’s HSS trounced G.V. Raja Sports School 74-49 and lifted the Fr. Ephrem Trophy as the 11th all-Kerala inter-school basketball tournament concluded here on Wednesday.

It was the combined onslaught unleashed by M.G. Vaisakh (19), R. Sooraraj (16), Sarath Mohan (11) and Jinson Eugin (10) which helped St. Joseph’s to an easy win.

Dinu (22) was the top-scorer for the loser, which trailed 35-42 at half-time. — Special Correspondent
