CHENNAI: Deutsche Bank has teamed up with Landmark, a well-known retail book store chain, to launch Deutsche Bank Landmark Credit Card, a co-branded card. The card is available in two variants — Deutsche Bank Landmark Platinum Card and Deutsche Bank Landmark Gold Card. Deutsche Bank Landmark Credit Card holders can earn up to six reward points for every Rs. 100 spent. Each cardholder will receive a Landmark gift voucher of up to Rs. 4,000 along with the card. All reward points earned on the card can be exclusively redeemed at any of the Landmark stores. Every point redeemed is equivalent to Re. 1. Cardholders will also be entitled to special privileges such as free gift wrapping, sneak previews of annual sales and premium seats at Landmark quiz and book reading sessions. Besides, Deutsche Bank Landmark Credit Cardholders will enjoy all the normal features of a Deutsche Bank credit card. Cardholders can also avail themselves of fuel surcharge waiver at all petrol pumps. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Shameek Bhargava, Director and Head of Cards, Asia Pacific, Deutsche Bank, said the bank would focus on niche clients for its card business. In this context, he said the bank sold the largest number of platinum cards within one year of its launch. Out of its total card base of 3.50 lakh, the platinum card-holders number around 13,000, he said.
