SCR emerges champions

HYDERABAD: South Central Railway emerged champions in the 40th all-India Railway billiards team championship defeating Central Railway 2-1 in the final here on Tuesday.

The scores: SCR bt Central Railway 2-1 (G. Durga Prasad lost to Ashok Shandilya 281-400; K.Venkatesham bt Siddarth Parak 400-303; S. Simhachalam bt V. Kumar 400-207).
