SCR in semifinals

HYDERABAD: South Central Railway defeated Southern Railway 3-0 to enter the billiards team championship semifinals of the 40th all-India Railway billiards and snooker championship at the RRC Grounds here on Monday.

The results: Team championship: Quarterfinals: SCR bt Southern Railway 3-0 (Durga Prasad bt R. Prabhakar 400-263; K. Venkatesham bt Antim Singhi 400-319; S. Simhachalam bt Rafat Habib 185-108).

Western Railway bt West-Central Railway 3-0 (Shekar bt Ashok Kumar 400-398; T. Varun bt Madan 400-112; C. Kamal bt Yesulord 111-32).
