Power supply to be hit

BANGALORE: There will be no power supply on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. owing to maintenance work by the BESCOM authorities. The areas that will be affected include Rajivnagar, Syndicate Bank Cross, Raghavendra Layout, part of Padmanabha Nagar, 100 Feet Ring Road, Hosakerehalli, Vittal Eye Hospital, Dattatreyanagar, Eshwarinagar, Mookambikanagar, NCERT, 5th Block BDA Layout, Ittamadu, Annapoorneshwarinagar, Kamakya Layout, Abhilash Nursing Home, Chennammanakere Achukattu, ITI Layout, Balaji Layout, Kaverinagar, Kathiguppe Main Road, Vinayaka Nagar, R.K. Layout, Kadirenahalli and surrounding areas, a Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited release said.

As the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) authorities are taking up repairs works of 150 MVA transformer at Subramanyapura Station, there will be intermittent power supply from November 14 to November 17.

The areas affected are:

Jayadeva MUSS: BTM 1st Stage and 2nd Stage covering KEB Layout, J.P. Nagar 3rd Phase and 3rd Phase, KEB Colony, Kuvempunagara, Madina Nagar, Central Silk Board, Kaverappa Industrial Estate, KAS and IAS Colony, Srinivasa Industrial Estate, Mico Layout, Vysya Bank Colony, N.S.Palya and Industrial area, Bannerghatta Road, Infosys, Old and New Guruppanapalya, Thavarekere, Jayanagar 1st to 4th Blocks, Byrasandra, 4th T Block, 9th Block, Part of Hosur Road, Jayadeva Hospital, Hulimavu, Bilekahalli, Begur, K.C.Halli, Poorvankara Apartment, part of Vijaya Bank Colony, B.G.Road, and surroundings areas.

Sarakki MUSS: Brigade Software Park, Sarakki Gate, Gangadharanagar, Vivekananda Colony, Pragathipura, Hari Colony, Ramakrishnanagar, Family Mart, 6th Block, 3rd Block, 2nd Block, R.V.
