Sterlite Technologies to expand

CHENNAI: Sterlite Technologies, formerly Sterlite Optical Technologies, has decided to double its optical fibre manufacturing capacity to 12 million km from six million km. The expansion at the company’s facilities at Aurangabad will cost Rs. 140 crore, says a release. — Corporate Reporter
