Mangalore Heros prevails

MANGALORE: Mangalore Heros FC (Mangalore) drubbed Brothers FC (Uchil) 3-1 in the Ahmad Master B division football league at the Nehru Maidan here on Sunday.

Thouseef got Heros on the score-sheet in the eighth minute, only to find Arif restore parity for the Uchil side a minute later.

After the break, Arif put Heros in the lead in the seventh minute and team-mate Shamsheer put the result beyond doubt with his strike in the 12th minute.
