Air India’s new aircraft for Sharjah sector
Staff Reporter
KOCHI: Air India has inducted a brand new wide-bodied aircraft for operating in the Sharjah sector. Airbus 330-200, taken on lease, will replace the relatively smaller Airbus 300 aircraft now being used for operating the Mumbai-Kozhikode-Kochi-Sharjah service. (Though Indian operates the service, it now comes under the common brand name Air India after the merger of the two airlines.) The service is being operated four times a week: on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
