Talks on to reopen link road: Baalu

CHENNAI: Union Shipping and Road Transport Minister, T.R. Baalu, on Wednesday said discussions were progressing with Defence authorities on reopening the link road connecting the Kottappattu and Sathanoor villages in Tiruchirappalli. It was closed to public by cantonment authorities on November 3. In an official release, the Minister said the district authorities and Defence officials were seeking an early solution to the problem following the intervention of Defence Minister A. K. Antony.
