Corrections and clarifications

The caption of the accompanying photograph in a report “Achieve financial inclusion, PSBs told” (“Business” page, November 6, 2007) was: “Tech Centre: M.V. Naik, Chairman and Managing Director, Union Bank, lighting the lamp to mark the inauguration of the bank’s technology centre in Mumbai on Monday. Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram looks on.” It should have been M.V. Nair, as stated in the text of the report.

It is the policy of The Hindu to correct significant errors as soon as possible. Please specify the edition (place of publication), date and page.
