Udhagamandalam: Good Shepherd International School scored a four-wicket win over Lawrence School to emerge the champion of the NDCA under-17 inter-school cricket tournament for the Azhar Hassan Memorial Trophy on Monday.
The scores: Final: Lawrence 183 for nine in 40 overs (M. Aravind 64) lost to Good Shepherd IS 184 for six in 36.4 overs.
Rajkumar strikes
Riding on Rajkumar’s hat-trick, Sri Krishna Sports Club chalked out a 3-1 win over Lightning Sports Club in the NDFA-Sterling Biotech first division league on Monday.
Rajkumar struck in the seventh, 14th and 45th minutes, while Jagadeesh reduced the margin towards the closing stages of the match.
