Sania stays at 32 in singles rankings Bhupathi remains at 21st spot in the doubles list New Delhi: Leander Paes jumped four rungs to be 13th, while Mahesh Bhupathi remained static at the 21st place in the latest ATP doubles tennis rankings on Monday. The jump in Paes’ ranking comes despite he and his Czech partner Martin Damm crashing out in the opening round of the Paris Masters last week. Paes has 2,745 points. Bhupathi, on the other hand, has 2,210 points. No change in top spotsMeanwhile, in the WTA charts, Sania Mirza stayed at the 32nd spot with 921 points. The top-five remain unchanged in WTA rankings with Belgian Justine Henin (5,930) leading the pack, followed by Russian Sevtlana Kuznetsova (3,750) and Serbia’s Jelena Jankovic (3,475) at the second and third positions respectively. Serena fifthJankovic’s compatriot Ana Ivanovic (3,161) occupies the fourth position followed by American Serena Williams (2767). — PTI
