Union Christian, St. Vincent’s win

CHENNAI: Union Christian and St. Vincent’s MHSS won the boys’ and girls’ titles respectively in the SVS inter-school basketball tournament held here on Saturday.

St. Vincent’s MHSS and Vidyodhaya HSS emerged runner-up in the boys and girls categories.

Jayasankar Menon, former Asian All Star basketball player and Manager, Indian Bank, gave away the prizes.

Best player of the tournament: Boys: Vijay Kiran (St. Vincent’s). Girls: Kavitha (Lady McTM). Promising youngster: Ram Kumar (St. Vincent’s).
