Hilfenhaus to replace Tait

BRISBANE: Elbow soreness has ruled fast bowler Shaun Tait out of the Australia team to play Sri Lanka in the first cricket Test beginning on Thursday at the Gabba.

Selectors chairman Andrew Hilditch said on Saturday that Tait would be replaced in the 13-man squad by Tasmania fast bowler Ben Hilfenhaus. — AP
