Chirag United drubs Mohd. Sporting

KOLKATA: Mohammedan Sporting was routed by Chirag United 4-0 at its home ground in a return-leg premier league match of the Calcutta Football League here on Saturday. Theodore Sunday Wrobeh struck twice for Chirag United in 44th and 85th minutes (the second being a penalty). Dhanrajan (49th minute) and Gouranga Dutta (78th) scored two more in the second session.

The win consolidated Chirag United’s position in the third spot in the league table with 19 points from 12 matches, while Mohammedan Sporting remained on 13 points from its quota of 12 outings. — Principal Correspondent
