Warm welcome for volleyball teams

CHENNAI: The members of the Tamil Nadu mini boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams were given a reception at the Chennai Central station by the State Association after their good show in the National championship at Bilwara.

While the boys’ team won the title, the girls finished third. This is the fourth consecutive year that the State is winning the title in the boys’ section. R. Manokaran, General Secretary, TSVA led the reception committee that included S. Beny Coonghe, Treasurer and the team sponsors, representative of the St. Joseph’s Engineering College.
