Blasts case convict dies

Coimbatore: A life convict in the Coimbatore serial blasts case, Sabur Rehman (34), lodged at the Coimbatore central prison, died on Wednesday afternoon owing to a suspected cardiac arrest. Sources said he complained of chest pain. After first aid at the prison, he was rushed to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital, but died on the way. He was sentenced to life imprisonment on October 24.
