Western Auto launches JV with Austrian firm

CHENNAI: Western Auto L.L.C, a Dubai-based automobile trading company that is part of the ETA Star Group, UAE, has announced a joint venture (JV) with Palfinger of Austria, a manufacturer of hydraulic lifting, loading and handling systems. A. J. Kamal, Director, Western Auto, told reporters here on Tuesday that the Chennai-headquartered subsidiary — Star Palfinger Equipments India Pte. Ltd. — would facilitate the distribution and servicing of Palfinger cranes and hook-loaders in India. — Corporate Reporter
