Sri Sankara SSS posts win

CHENNAI: Sri Sankara SSS defeated Sir Sivasamy Kalalaya SSS by six wickets in the TNCA-Boost C. Ramaswamy Trophy city schools under-17 cricket tournament here recently.

The scores: MCC HSS 145 for six in 25 overs (J. Nijjan 81, Jyoti three for 14) lost to St. Mary’s ‘A’ 151 for eight in 23.5 overs (Ashish 62, Nishanth 39).

Sir Sivasamy Kalalaya SSS 116 in 29 overs (B. Sriram 25, Nagarajan four for 19, Eswar three for 36) lost to Sri Sankara SSS 117 for four in 22.1 overs (Nagarajan 29 not out, R. Vignesh 28).
