Badrinath is TN skipper

CHENNAI: S. Badrinath will lead the Tamil Nadu cricket team in the first two matches of the 2007-08 season of the Ranji Trophy championship (Elite A Group) in November.

The side plays Maharashtra from November 3 to 6 at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium and Mumbai from November 15 to 18 at ICL-Guru Nanak.

The squad: S. Badrinath (capt.), M. Vijay, S. Anirudha, Dinesh Karthik (wk), K. Shri Vasudeva Das, R. Prasanna, R. Ashwin, C. Ganapathy, V. Yomahesh, R. Naresh, R. Srinivasan, P. Amarnath, R. Ramkumar, Abhinav Mukund and K.H. Gopinath; Coach: W.V. Raman.
