Dubai: Sri Lanka’s Roshan Mahanama was appointed match referee for the five-match ODI series between India and Pakistan beginning on November 5. Ian Gould will officiate in the first three ODIs along with the local umpires, the ICC said in a statement. Billy Doctrove will stand in the final two ODIs. Another Sri Lankan Ranjan Madugalle will be the match referee for the three-Test series. Australia’s Simon Taufel and Doctrove will officiate in the first Test, while Doctrove will be joined by New Zealand’s Billy Bowden for the second. Taufel and Bowden will be the umpires for the third Test. Meanwhile, Mike Procter will be the match referee for the two-Test series between Australia and Sri Lanka. Aleem Dar and Rudi Koertzen will officiate in both Tests. — PTI
