Cisco to hire more people

NEW DELHI: Global networking company Cisco on Monday said it was committed to spend $1.1 billion in India as announced a couple of years ago. “We are very much on target (on spending targets). We will be hiring more people to take our strength in India to 10,000 by 2010,” said John Chambers, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S.-based company.
