Six-member team for India-Pakistan series

New Delhi: National champion Ashutosh Singh will lead a six-member Indian team, including two women players, in the second tennis series against Pakistan next month.

Vivek Shokeen, Sunil Kumar Sipaeya, Aditya Madkekar, Parija Maloo and Sonal Phadke are the other members of the team, which would be coached by former Davis Cup captain Akhtar Ali.

India will play two men’s singles, one women’s singles, one men’s doubles and one mixed doubles ties during the two-leg series.

The first leg of the series will be played at Lahore on November 13 and 14 and the second leg at Islamabad on November 15 and 16. — PTI
