Woman, 2 children found dead

GUNTUR: A woman, along with her two children, was found dead in mysterious circumstances at Badepuram village of Tadikonda mandal on Wednesday night.

According to the Tadikonda police, Sankuri Triveni (32) and her sons, Sankuri Harshavardhan (7) and daughter Harshavardhini (5) were found dead in mysterious circumstances at their residence. Their bodies were found hanging from the ceiling of their house in the city.

Parents of the victim, M. Manikya Rao and Suguna, alleged that their daughter was killed by their son-in-law. They alleged that he had been having an extra-marital affair with another woman.

The incident came to light only late on Wednesday night and a complaint was lodged with the police on Thursday morning.

Triveni was married to Sankuri Vijay Kumar in 1998.

Vijay Kumar is working as a conductor in the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. is He is posted in the Mangalagiri RTC depot.

Amaravathi circle inspector Balasowry visited the village while Vijay Kumar was taken into police custody for questioning.

The Tadikonda police are investigating the case.
