SIO to hold convention on education

GUNTUR: The Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO)will organize State-level conventions and workshops highlighting the glaring loopholes in the existing education system. The SIO would hold conventions in Vijayawada, Nellore, Warangal and Hyderabad besides taking out rallies in Guntur from November 11 to 18 to mark the silver jubilee celebrations of the organisation.

Organisation regional secretary Zainul Pasha told reporters here on Wednesday that the organisation established in 1982 with the objectives of redefining education, regaining struggle and renovating society has been actively involved in colleges across the State.

Guntur District organizer Mustaq, unit president Maqbul, members Abdul Subani and Abdul Samad were present.
