Corrections and clarifications

A sentence in the editorial “Physics Nobel for a great discovery” (October 16, 2007) was: “This year’s Nobel Prize in Physics to France’s Albert Fert and Germany’s Peter Gruenberg is for their independent discovery, in the late-1980s, of a new effect called Giant Megnetoresistance (GMR) that has revolutionised hard disk technology.” “Megnetoresistance” should have been “Magnetoresistance”. Also, Peter Gruenberg should have been Peter Grünberg.

It is rhythm and blues, and not rock and blues as was published in a promo “Beyonce to Shanghai” (“Newscape” page, Delhi, October 16, 2007).
