Girinagar Bhavan’s moves up

KOCHI: Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar, defeated Christo (Fort Kochi) 50-36 and entered the boys’ second round of the 17th P.L. Lawrence inter-school basketball tournament at the Fort Kochi YMCA on Tuesday.

The results (first round): Settlement, Aluva bt SH PS, Thevara 53-40; Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar bt Christo, Fort Kochi 50-36; Chinmaya, Vaduthala bt Nava Nirman, Vazhakkala 49-21.
