NEW DELHI: Unbeaten 57 by Rahul Saini helped St. Michael’s School beat Bal Bharti Public School by six wickets and make it to the super league stage in the Boost Cup Under-17 inter-school cricket tournament here on Tuesday. The scores: Bal Bharti Public School 112 in 30.2 overs (Chetanya Sachdeva 36, Kabir Kohli three for 26, Rahul Mehta three for 27) lost to St. Michael’s School 113 for four in 29.4 overs (Rahul Saini 57 not out, Karan Khanna 35). Mount St. Mary’s School 83 in 23.5 overs (Prateek Bhardwaj 32, Lakshay Chadha 30, Shubhankar Sharda three for 29, Aditya Jain three for 27) lost to Sardar Patel Vidyalaya 84 for one in 16.3 overs (Shubhankar Sharda 46 not out, Kartik Abhi 30 not out). Cavalry Green beats SixtSpaniard Santiago de Estrada and Tarun Sirohi fired three goals apiece as Cavalry Green defeated Sixt 8-3 in the opening match of the Baroda Cup 12-goal polo tournament at the Jaipur Polo Ground here on Tuesday. First goalSirohi scored the first goal before Estrada made it 2-0. Angad Kalaan pulled one back for Sixt towards of the end of the first chukker. Navjit Sandhu made it 3-1 before the chukker ended as Cavalry kept control over the match. Sandhu scored yet again at the start of the second chukker before Estrada and Sirohi took over. For Sixt, Kalaan scored two and Adhiraj Singh slotted in one.
