NEW DELHI: The Indian domestic golf tour for 2007-08 season will tee-off with the Rs. 80 lakh Bilt Open to be played at the Jaypee Greens Golf Resort in Greater Noida from October 18 to 21.
The field will comprise top professionals on the Asian Tour, Gaurav Ghei and Unho Park, the 2006 PGTI Order of Merit winner Ashok Kumar and Harmeet Kahlon will vie for the biggest purse on the domestic tour.
The defending champion, Jyoti Randhawa, who on Sunday won the Indian Open here, will miss the event as he will be playing the Portugal Open on the European Tour. — Principal Correspondent
