Reception for Anand

Chennai: The Tamil Nadu State Chess Association will organise a reception for World chess champion Viswanathan Anand on his arrival in Chennai at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

There will be an opportunity for chess lovers to greet Anand at the airport on his arrival, after which he will be taken in a chariot at 2.30 p.m. from Kasturba Nagar third cross-street in Adyar to his residence at Customs Colony in Besant Nagar, via Mahatma Gandhi Road. Those who wish to greet or wish him can do so at that time.
