Tuticorin: Spic Cricket Club beat Young Star Cricket Club by two wickets in the L.P. Rayan memorial Trophy at Tuticorin on Monday.

The scores:

Young Star CC 175 for nine in 25 overs (Kathir 70) lost to Spic CC 177 for eight in 22.5 overs; DCW CC 142 for nine in 25 overs (Alphonse 40) bt Gavaskar CC 84 in 19.5 overs; TRC ‘A’ 109 for five in 25 overs lost to Seconds CC ‘A’ 113 for two in 12 overs (G.T. Prabakar 42); SDR CC 118 for nine in 21 overs (Dilipan four for 28) lost to Youth CC 120 for three in 20 overs (Arun Shankar 45 n.o.).
