St. Paul’s in last four

DHARWAD: Sushant Masalwad slammed 96 as St. Paul’s HS (Hubli) defeated Basel Mission English Medium HS ‘B’ by 135 runs to enter the semifinals of the Srinivas Bendre memorial under-14 inter-school cricket tournament here on Sunday.

In the semifinals scheduled for October 21, BMEMHS ‘A’ takes on St. Paul’s HS, while KE Board’s HS meets Pavan EMHS.

The scores:

St. Paul’s HS 177 for 4 in 20 overs (Sushant Masalwad 96) bt BM EMHS ‘B’ 42 in 12.2 overs (Manish four for 14).

BM EMHS ‘A’ 126 for six in 20 overs (Kartik Borkar 56 not out, Srinivas three for 16) bt SDM Central School 112 in 18.4 overs (Kartik Borkar three for 19).
