Bangalore: Praveen and Sunny scored a brace each as Dharmaraja Union defeated Sree Gajanana FC 6-2 in a State ‘A’ division league match at the Football Stadium here on Sunday. Praveen scored in the ninth and 53rd minutes while Sunny chipped in during the 69th and 81st minutes. Suda (56th min.) and Mahesh (67th) also scored for the victor while Harish (54th) and D. Murali (90th) scored for Sree Gajanana FC. Later in a super division league match, MEG defeated CIL 1-0. Dhanji Singh’s 29th minute strike helped MEG inch ahead. HASC defeats BeaglesHASC defeated Beagles 68-59 in a State ‘A’ division basketball league match at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium courts here on Sunday. The results: HASC 68 (Kevin 15, Umashankar 14) bt Beagles 59 (Shivu 14), ht: 37-30; ASC 68 (Atheef 15) bt NAL Colony 43 (Hemanth 12), ht: 36-26.
