HYDERABAD: SumTotal, a talent management company, is planning to launch a compensation management software solutions for enterprise users. Talking to a group of journalists here on Thursday, CEO of SumTotal, Donald E. Fowler, said the company was looking at acquisition of new companies which had expertise in recruitment software. He said his company was into providing total talent management solutions to enterprise companies to help achieve recruitment-performance-learning-compensation lifecycle. Mr. Fowler said the compensation management software would enable companies to assess the performance and retain skilled human resources and combat attrition, which was dogging many an industry across the globe. Software as a service (SAS) was poised to become a big business opportunity in the talent management space. Mr. Fowler said the company had 330 people, out of its global headcount of 800, in India and it was likely to expand it to 550 in the near future.
