Yet another drama

These seem to be the days of ‘direct action’. If the other day Mahila Congress president Ganga Bhavani and her entourage literally raided the residence of TDP leader Nannapaneni Rajakumari against her alleged remarks against the Chief Minister, Rajakumari exploited the incident to the fullest terming it as an attempt on her life and lodging a police complaint. And catching the action live are numerous TV channels. If the real protest lasts an hour, public gets to see the ‘televised’ action 24x7!

“In a democratic set up, there are ways and means to express dissent but these days intent is more on playing to the gallery,” quipped a gentleman watching the ‘direct action’ on a TV channel.
