Assembly session from October 17

CHENNAI: Five ordinances, including one providing reservation in education and employment to Backward Class Muslims and Christians, will be taken up by the Assembly during the monsoon session.

Speaker R. Avudaiappan told reporters that the session to begin on October 17 would start with the House mourning the death of six former Members of the Legislative Assembly.
