Examination postponed: The second semester LLB (three year) examinations and the sixth semester LLB (five year) examinations scheduled to begin on October 10 have been postponed to October 15.

UGC-NET: The University of Kerala will be a centre for the National Eligibility Test in humanities subjects conducted by the University Grants Commission on December 16. The centre code is 32. The fee for candidates in the general category is Rs.450. It is Rs.225 for those in the OBC category and Rs.110 for SC /ST candidates and those who are blind. The fee should be submitted in the form of a crossed DD drawn from a nationalised bank or from scheduled bank in favour of The Secretary, UGC, payable at the bank’s service branch at New Delhi. Those eligible for fee concession should submit attested copies of relevant certificates. The application form is available at the web site www.ugc.ac.in. Candidates can apply in plain paper, type out their application form or fill up the form that is downloaded from the internet. Two copies of the application form and one copy each of the admit card and the attendance slip should be submitted. The application forms can be submitted either in person or be mailed to the Registrar, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34. The last date for submitting applications is October 23.

BDS examination: The fourth BDS part two examinations scheduled to begin on October 9 have been postponed to November 13. There is no change in the time and the examination centres.

Refresher course: Applications have been invited for the refresher course in life sciences scheduled to be held at the academic staff college from December 26 to January 15, 2008. The application form and further details can be had from the web site www.ugcasc.keralauniversity.edu. Details can also be had from the College office on phone 0471-2418989.

Internal marks: The internal marks of the students of the first year M.A. Malayalam course at the Institute of Distance Education have been published. Those who have any complaints about the marks should contact the coordinator before October 26. Phone: 9388669837.

Public administration: The internal marks of the students of the first year M.A. public administration course at the Institute of Distance Education have been published. Those who have any complaints should contact the coordinator before October 25.

MCA results: The results of the sixth semester MCA examinations held in September 2007 have been published.
