Sai starts favourite

NEW DELHI: Sai Karthik and Prerna Bhambri will start as the favourites in the boys’ and girls’ sections respectively in the DSCL National sub-junior tennis championship beginning here on Monday.

The seedings:

Boys: Under-16: 1. Kaza Vinayak Sarma, 2. N. Sai Karthik, 3. Shantanu Rajput, 4. Rohit Bisht, 5. Chetan Pandit, 6. Prateek Bhambri, 7. Jugal Marfatia and 8. Suraj Desai.

Under-14: 1. Rohit Bisht, 2. Mohit Mayur, 3. Ronit Bisht, 4. Tushal Tawani, 5. Digvijay Singh Mehta, 6. Surya Pavan, 7. Rakshay Thakkar and 8. R. Ramkumar.

Girls: Under-16: 1. Gopika Kapoor, 2. Rishika Sunkara, 3. Garima Vatwani, 4. Prerna Bhambri, 5. Shweta Chandra Rana, 6. Arushi Sharma, 7. Divya Madku Rao and 8. Nimisha Mohan.
