Chennai ‘A’ triumphs

VIJAYAWADA: Chennai ‘A’ emerged winners in the men’s section defeating Mumbai 31-12, while Delhi beat Karnataka Police 28-21 in the women’s final of the all-India invitational kabaddi tournament for SAI-STCs at Gudivada on Sunday.

The results: Men: Final: Chennai ‘A’ bt Mumbai 31-12. Semifinals: Chennai ‘A’ bt Secunderabad 29-19; Mumbai bt Salem 19-14.

Women: Final: Delhi bt Karnataka 28-21. Semifinals: Karnataka Police bt Pune 51-25; Delhi bt Thane 67-22.
