KOCHI: The country’s rich cricket stars have just got richer.
Thrilled that the sport is back to winning ways, the Pune-based SRK Group has decided to present luxury flats to seven star cricketers in its new premium township, the Skywings, in Kochi.
“We will give the two-bedroom flats, worth about Rs. 40 lakh, to Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Sreesanth and Irfan Pathan,” said K. Rasheed Malik, the SRK Group Chairman, here on Monday.
This is the third house many of the young stars who won the Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa recently will be getting in a little more than a week.
The SRK Group will also sponsor the Kerala Ranji Trophy team this season. The sponsorship deal is worth Rs. 10 lakhs. — Principal Correspondent
